Ms. Pertuz is an Ultrasound Technologist, Level 2.  She became a member of Local 237 in 2008. A solid union member, she enjoys helping others and going to work.  She describes it as a small unit where everyone gets along well and loves her co-workers.

As a bi-lingual worker, she enjoys helping Spanish-speaking patients communicate their concerns.  Married to Alberto Bajana, they have two children: AJ (Alberto Jose) 19 who plays basketball and Gabi (Gabriella) 16 who is a cheerleader.  When Ms. Pertuz describes how she feels about being a union member, she says: “It’s nice to have someone who has your back.”  The union is “like a dependable friend who you can always turn to.”
