Ms. Partee became a member of Local 237 in 1987 when she was a housing assistant with Leased Housing.  Ms. Partee compares union membership with being part of a family.  She says the benefits are great and you are never alone.

In 1995 she became an Assistant Manager and in 2003 she was promoted to manager.  She has worked at many NYCHA developments, including Lehman Village, MLK Houses, Wald and Taft.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family – daughters Lenore (39) and Keva and her 2 grandchildren – with another on the way!
