Ms. Delgado became a member of Local 237 in 2011.  Her first title was Caretaker J. She has been a shop steward, attends chapter meetings and is a solid union member.

In her words, “the union means everything to me – it is above and beyond.  We are a family – we are one.” In her job, she enjoys giving tenants 100% satisfaction – and making them happy. She’s a “people person” and likes her co-workers.

Delgado is married to Manuel Bruno, a 4-year NYCHA maintenance worker, and has 3 children, ages 14, 10 and 4.  The Delgado family hails from Canovanas (Priscilla) and Mayaguez Puerto Rico (Manuel). Ms. Delgado enjoys going to the movies, bowling, playing pool and LOTS of travel.
